Farmville District UMW News

Feb 6, 2017: Here are a few reminders

  • Don't forget the Prayer Breakfast.  The deadline for registration is February 25 and don't forget our mission focus for the day is Jackson-Field Homes.  The items they need are printed on the registration form.  The Prayer Breakfast is March 11.  I have attached the registration form just in case you cannot locate your LINKETTE which also has the form in it.
  • Our Mission Study is April 22 at Providence UMC in LaCrosse, VA.  Registration is not required but a phone call to Brenda Lewis at 434-447-7430 by April 15 is necessary to let the Providence ladies who are preparing a meal for us know how many people to expect.
  • Have you sent in your 2017 Officer and Membership Report?  If not DO SO TODAY if you want your unit to appear in the Farmville District Directory which will be distributed at the Prayer Breakfast.  Email or call Marilyn Johnson at 434-223-8250 or johnma7@live.com . There are still 12 units who have not responded with their report.  A copy of that form is also attached to this email for your convenience.  The original form was in your packet that was distributed at the District Annual Meeting in September or was mailed to the presidents shortly thereafter.
  • The Farmville District President, Mary Fulton, had surgery in January that will have her out of commission for about 6 weeks.  I'm sure she would love to hear from you.  Her address is 6321 Phillis Road, Boydton, VA  23917
  • Have you had your DAY APART program yet?  Don't forget it?
